Concerns my french weblog. If you can't understand french, skip to next paragraph

J'avais arrêté mon blog car je n'avais strictement rien à y raconter, à part publier des photos qui sont déjà partout ailleurs sur le web (ici, flickr...). Donc pas besoin d'un doublon.

Après discussion avec amis, visite de blogs photos, et le shooting avec =Breizhbleiz avant hier, je me suis dit que ça pourrait être un moyen sympa de relater mes expériences, et d'augmenter ma visibilité en France (ouais, je vais ptet passer semi-pro ou autre. Si j'eux me faire plaisir et gagner quelques sous, je vais pas me priver hein!).

Après deux jours de recherche, réinstallation de wordpress, de thèmes et de plugins à n'en plus finir, de personnalisation de thème, de prise de tête avec du code moche (mal écrit, dupliqué... bref l'enfer), mon blog revient à la vie: -> [link]

Le but est d'y raconter mes idées, mes process, mes shootings, etc, plus une page de portfolio que je suis en train de mettre en place.

Today I did another photoshoot, this time with Adeline (=Breizhbleiz) as model. Funny that all my models are photographers that I convinced to move on the other side of the lense

The weather was quite better today, the sun wasn't playing hide & seek, and the temperature was very bearable (well Amandine might think otherwise, she wasn't wearing a coat like me ).

Please tell me wich ones are your favorites. I'm building a portfolio, so I could use some external advice to choose my best shots.

As you might have noticed, I've set up a pool on wheter you are interested in a photography workshop for next Parisian deviantMeet (*DeviantMEET-Paris).

Here's a rough outline of my talk:

• Specificities and advantages of controlled light photography, with focus on off-camera flash, à la Strobist


• Gear needed (and not needed )


• Demo (Hopefully I'll have access to a video projector at the Dune)

• Then I'll lend my lighting gear so you can try by yourselves

Bear in mind that it won't be a course, I don't have the experience for that (I've been a strobist for only a few months), but I want to give you a glimpse of the possibilities offered by off-camera flash , and share my enthusiasm for creative lighting. I don't know the exact length of the workshop yet, but I don't want it to be too long (1h?). It will be based on David Hobby's (mr. Strobist) seminar and his Lighting 101 course ([link]).
