Melancholy
The model is my brother. Lightsources: daylight from the window on the back, and a reflector on the front. Actually my first good shot with my reflex, a few days after I purchased it. for  's Emotion ContestComments and critiques are warmly welcomed, as long as you don't diss the model! Thx! ---- Ok now a bit of self-critique: hair is a bit too dark, losing details. Right part of the background is just ugly. There is dust on the glasses. Left part maybe too blown out... -------------------------------- I give permission to portraitclub to submit this image to the club gallery.    very interesting photo, i like it.
something about your self-criticism - the dust on the glasses is barely seen in that size and the hair is pretty well that way, bringing contrast for the image. i agree for the right part of the background, though. and i think the focus could have been deeper, so that the hand would be focused too. -- my nightmares taste like apples, while silence tastes like blood. for every thing that happens i have a different word. Thank you for your opinion.
